Privacy and Confidentiality
Your interactions with us are private, according to FERPA policy. We won’t share your information with anyone outside of our office without your permission unless we are concerned for your or others’ safety.
Phone or virtual appointments:
- Should be conducted in a quiet and, if possible, private place. Please find a location where you will be able to communicate with the CCA coach/counselor effectively.
- Are not confidential, due to the factors that are not always in the control of the parties involved. However, the CCA staff member will abide by privacy/confidentiality practices as much as possible. The use of a private computer is encouraged, but not required.
Email Interactions are also not confidential as a vehicle of communication. The CCA staff member will keep the interaction as private/confidential as possible.
Appointments of any type will not be recorded without the permission of all parties involved.
