Emily Dietrich brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education, career services, workforce development, and recruiting, with a proven record of leadership. She currently serves as Co-Interim Executive Director of the Center for Career Advancement at Bucknell University, where she provides collaborative oversight and shared accountability for advancing the Center’s mission to prepare students for meaningful post-graduate outcomes. In this role, she directs career education initiatives and advising services, strengthens partnerships across campus and with alumni, parents, and employers, ensures students have access to the tools and experiences necessary for effective career planning, and mentors team members while fostering collaboration across the University Advancement division.
In addition, Emily co-leads the STEM Career Community, connecting students with alumni, employers, and campus partners to expand opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math fields. She is also a frequent presenter and career coach, engaging with the College of Engineering, STEM-related student organizations, and campus-wide audiences.
Before joining Bucknell, Emily advanced workforce development initiatives as Employment & Training Manager at Shop Vac USA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Westminster College and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, with a concentration in Strategic Leadership, from the University of Colorado Boulder.
