Get Started

Welcome to the Center for Career Advancement (CCA)! The CCA is a place where you can learn to explore your interests, values, and strengths and use that self-knowledge to influence your decision-making throughout your time here at Bucknell. This is also a great place for you to discover how to navigate your Bucknell experience as well as learn professional development skills.

Join a Career Community

As we work to develop resources and programming that expands learning and connections, we are focused on helping you look beyond your major and academic department. Our Career Communities were created to encourage exploration, connecting you with others who are interested in similar careers paths — regardless of major — through industry-specific groups.

Sequence of Icons representing Bucknell's career communities

Join one (or more) of our six Career Communities to explore your future in:

  • Business & Consulting
  • STEM
  • Creative Arts, Media & Communications
  • Government & Public Interest
  • Law
  • Health

Through this culture of connection, we create career events focused on industries — not majors. When you join a community, you’ll receive industry-focused updates from your Career Community Leader highlighting jobs, internships, programs and events that apply specifically to the career of your dreams as well as industry-specific resources, alumni and employer connections and access to community-specific career coaching appointments.
