Career Community Intern, Government & Public Policy
Shaheryar is a sophomore from Lahore, Pakistan, studying economics and psychology. On campus, he currently serves as President of the Global Student Council, the Muslim Student Association, and the Civic Engagement Council. He is also a Teaching Assistant for Economics, a Senior Student Data Fellow, and one of the co-chairs of Bucknell’s annual BizPitch competition. This past summer, he interned with a nonprofit that supports children with special needs, an experience that deepened my passion for equity and advocacy. Shaheryar is excited to join the Career Center team and looks forward to helping students discover pathways that align with their values and aspirations.
Career Community Intern, Creative Arts, Media & Communications
Em is a sophomore from New Milford, CT. She is planning to major in finance with a minor in Japanese and areas of film. Her dream is to one day produce an animation project she’s been working on for many years, something she hopes people all over the world will enjoy! Before coming to Bucknell, Em spent a year studying abroad in Japan, where she discovered the importance of stepping outside of her comfort zone and embracing new experiences. She carried that mindset with her to Bucknell, where she has focused on challenging herself and finding new ways to grow. Through her work with the CCA team, she hopes to help other students discover exciting opportunities, push their boundaries, and maybe even reach a goal that makes them proud.
Social Media & Marketing Intern
Gwynnie is a sophomore majoring in Early Childhood Education from Manhattan, NY. For the past few summers, she has worked at an all-girls sleepaway camp in New Hampshire, which was an incredible experience. During high school, she spent all four years on her school’s social media team, where she developed a strong interest in content creation and digital marketing. Gwynnie is excited to bring that passion to the CCA this year and continue exploring her love for social media and marketing!
Career Education Intern
Eli is an Economics major with a Management minor from Seattle, Washington. This past summer she worked at Goldman Sachs as an investment banking summer analyst. On campus, she is part of The Dean’s Student Advisory Council, Student Lectureship Committee, Bison Finance Society, formerly served as president of Women in Business, and she is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Elli is looking forward to supporting students in their career goals as part of the CCA!
Social Media & Marketing Intern
Maya is a senior from Jersey City, New Jersey, majoring in Economics and Theatre. On campus, she serves as president and social media manager of the Stampede Hip Hop & K-Pop Dance Club, sings in the Offbeats a cappella group, works as a mentor for Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM), and performs in the Theatre Department’s productions. Maya looks forward to being part of the CCA and is excited to help increase awareness of its resources and opportunities for students.
Career Community Intern, Business & Consulting
Ingrid is a Junior from Marin County, California, double majoring in Management and Organization and Literary Studies. This past summer she interned at a real estate investment firm in San Francisco. At Bucknell, she is a member of the Bison Pals Club, the Women in Business Club and Alpha Chi Omega. She is excited to get started in the Career Center, and is looking forward to meeting new people and learning new skills.

Ria is a senior from New York City, studying Economics with a minor in Real Estate. She spent this past summer as a Capital Advisory Summer Analyst at Greystone, a real estate finance firm based in New York. Last spring, she completed an amazing semester abroad in Sydney, Australia. And finally, here at Bucknell, she is an analyst for Bison Finance Society, a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, as well as a peer mentor for the College of Arts and Sciences. Ria is so excited to join the Center for Career Advancement and support students as they prepare for their future careers.

Hayley is a senior from Oradell, New Jersey, double majoring in economics and psychology with a minor in philosophy. This summer, she studied abroad in Italy before interning at a law firm and volunteering in victim services at a women’s shelter. At Bucknell, she serves as an Admissions Ambassador, Special Features Editor for The Bucknellian, and Recruitment Chair for Chi Omega. Hayley is excited to join the CCA and help students explore legal career paths, build meaningful connections, and expand the resources and programming available through the Law Career Community!
Career Education Intern
Madison is a sophomore from East Brunswick, NJ and plans on pursuing a double major in Psychology and Political Science. This summer, she interned for a United States Magistrate Judge in Trenton, NJ, where she learned the ins and outs of the judicial system in America. At Bucknell, she enjoys spending time on the quad with her friends, working on research with her professors, and tuning deeper into her personal interests. Madison is looking forward to being part of the CCA and making meaningful connections with fellow students!
Career Community Intern, Finance & Business
Axel is a senior from Short Hills, New Jersey, majoring in Finance with a minor in Business Analytics. He has gained internship experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), asset management, and credit analysis. Most recently, he interned at Moody’s in New York City as a Credit Ratings Analyst. On campus, he is actively involved with the Student Managed Investment Fund, works at the Teaching and Learning Center, and plays for the men’s club soccer team. Axel is excited to support the finance career community this semester through his role with the CCA.

Omuhle is a senior STEM Career Community Intern at the CCA, pursuing a dual degree in Chemical Engineering and Engineering Management. Originally from Zimbabwe, she is a social impact leader passionate about sustainable energy and youth empowerment. She is excited to return for another year with the CCA and looks forward to supporting STEM programming and career exploration.

Jennifer is a sophomore at Bucknell University, majoring in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Dance. Originally from Yonkers, NY, she spent her summer working as a camp counselor at Breezemont Day Camp and interning with Think Neuro, where she focused on children’s neurological literature. At Bucknell, she is actively involved in theatre and dance showcases and mainstage productions, contributes to the Computational Neuromodulation Lab, and is a member of the Bucknell Figure Skating Club. She also serves as an usher at the Weis Center and supports her peers as a writing consultant. Jennifer is excited to begin her work with the Career Center this year and looks forward to creating innovative experiences and opportunities for fellow STEM students who share her vision of building a brighter tomorrow.

Amy is a junior from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, majoring in Economics. On campus, she is a member of the Bucknell Women’s Water Polo Team, the Dutch Club, the Women in Business organization, and her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. She is especially enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve as a CCA intern and looks forward to helping fellow students with their career development.

Katie is a senior from Long Island, New York, majoring in Political Science. This past summer, she was a law intern at a personal injury firm in Long Beach, NY. On campus, she is the captain of the women’s club lacrosse team and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She has loved her role as a Career Education Intern for the past two years and looks forward to the upcoming semester.

Alex is a sophomore from Wyckoff, New Jersey, planning to double major in Business Analytics and Political Science. She has a strong passion for helping others and making a difference in her community. She is excited to begin her journey at the CCA to gain firsthand experience in the professional legal environment and to share important information with other law-interested students on campus.
Career Education Intern
Michael is a senior from Glen Rock, New Jersey, studying English-Literary Studies. During his time at Bucknell, he had the opportunity to study abroad in Italy during the spring semester of his junior year. He stayed in Italy over the summer, interning as an English teacher for underprivileged Italian children. At Bucknell, he works as an editor for The Bucknellian and is a member of ALD. Michael looks forward to working with the CCA to help students across Bucknell achieve their career goals.
Career Community Intern, Health
Gianni is a junior from Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, majoring in Cell Biology/Biochemistry. This past summer, he had the opportunity to work as an Emergency Department Technician at a local St. Luke’s hospital. This experience has fueled his ambition to attend medical school after graduating from Bucknell and pursue a career as a physician. On campus, he serves as vice president of the SNMA-MAPS organization and conducts research on muscle tissue in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He looks forward to continuing his role with the CCA team and further developing his knowledge in the health field.
