David R. Hamill ‘81 Washington, D.C. Experience

The David R. Hamill ’81 Washington, D.C., Experience is an internship fund designed to support students who want to cultivate their interests in non-partisan policy, politics and law in the nation’s capital.  The funding package includes a stipend to help cover your expenses while living in D.C., including housing at American University and the opportunity to take a course for credit there, as well as opportunities to meet and connect with Bucknell alumni.

The program will support four (4) students in Washington, DC, for the Summer 2026.  The application process is competitive and students will apply on Handshake.
