Enter the Pathways ePortfolio Challenge
Your Bucknell experience is shaping not only who you are but also the professional you are becoming. From research projects and leadership roles to internships, service and campus involvement, each moment contributes to your personal and professional story. The Pathways Program helps you bring that story together through reflective, customizable ePortfolios, a tool that is becoming increasingly valuable in today’s competitive career landscape. Now in its fifth year, the program is once again celebrating the powerful portfolios students create.
The 2025-26 Pathways ePortfolio Challenge is now open. Submit your ePortfolio by Feb. 1, 2026, for a chance to win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards. The first 100 students who enter qualifying portfolios will also receive a free drink from 7th Street Café.
Why Participate?
Beyond the prizes, entering the challenge is a smart professional move. Employers increasingly look for candidates who can showcase their abilities, not just list them. A polished ePortfolio helps you strengthen your personal brand, reflect on your growth and present your work in a way that stands out.
How to Enter
Complete the submission form and include your ePortfolio link. Winners will be randomly selected in five categories:
- Creativity & Innovation
- Civic/Community Engagement, Social Justice & Advocacy
- Leadership & Teamwork
- Career & Professional Development
- Research & Course Insights
You may submit multiple ePortfolios and enter the same portfolio in up to two categories. Portfolios entered in last year’s challenge must show significant updates to qualify again.
What Makes a Strong Entry?
Your ePortfolio should:
- Clearly articulate your ideas with respectful, professional language
- Highlight your authentic Bucknell experience
- Include reflection and artifacts that demonstrate your learning and achievements
- Show customization beyond standard templates
- Contain more than one complete page with clear, accessible navigation
- Incorporate accessibility elements such as alt text for images and media
- Be publicly shareable for potential use by the Pathways Program
Digication is the recommended platform, but portfolios created on other platforms are welcome if they meet these criteria.
